Jesse Mancinone, LPC

Jesse is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been working in the mental health and addiction fields for over 13 years. He went into private practice as a psychotherapist in 2016, specializing in substance abuse, ADHD, depression, anxiety and bipolar disorder treatment.

Jesse’s clinical experience ranges from working in outpatient and inpatient settings to providing in-home counseling services. He has worked with a wide range of clients including men, women and teens in both underserved and more affluent communities.

His approach to psychotherapy has been deeply influenced by Dr. Carl Rogers, one of the most renowned clinicians in the history of the world and the creator of Person Centered Therapy. One of the central ideas involved in this style of therapy is the concept of self-actualization. Through treating thousands of client’s, Dr. Rogers observed a natural desire in all people to move toward a meaningful and rich life, kind of like when a seed gets planted. It naturally will grow from a seed to a vibrant form of vegetation, IF it is grown in the right environment. Person Centered Therapy creates an emotionally safe, judgement free environment for client’s to work through their issues and actualize into the person they are meant to be. Jesse does his best to model this approach. Feel free to reach out to him at your earliest convenience if you are interested in potentially seeking counseling support.
